Bridge of Ceserana

Dating: XIV secolo
The stream Fosciandora is spanned at Ceserana by a footbridge consisting of a single a round arch. The original bridge was built in sandstone by local masons in the 14th century. The bridge is not in use any more since the construction of a road bridge, which stands above it.
How to reach
by car:From Lucca, take the SS12 road in direction of Abetone. When in Borgo a Mozzano, proceed towards Castelnuovo Garfagnana, and follow the signposts to Fosciandora and Ceserana.
